Refund Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-05 · Last updated: 2026-08-05
DRAFT — PENDING COUNSEL REVIEW. Working draft for public Beta; not legal advice. To be finalized by counsel before GA, in particular for alignment with EU/Türkiye consumer-withdrawal rights and Creem's Merchant-of-Record terms.
This Refund Policy supplements Terms of Service §8 (Fees, billing, taxes, and refunds). Where they conflict, the Terms govern for contractual matters and this page provides operational detail.
1. Merchant of Record
Paid plans are sold and invoiced by our Merchant of Record, Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia). Creem processes your payment, issues the invoice, and collects/remits VAT and sales tax. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Creem's checkout terms and refund handling; refunds are issued through Creem back to your original payment method.
2. Free tier
The Free plan costs nothing and involves no charge to refund. You can stop using it at any time.
3. Paid subscriptions — monthly
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing month until cancelled. Cancel any time from the dashboard or via [email protected]; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Because access and monthly credits are provisioned immediately, paid months are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where a refund is required by law (see §5) or granted at our discretion under §6.
4. Prepaid credits
Where credits are prepaid, unused credits roll over for 12 months (see Plans & Pricing). Prepaid amounts already consumed as usage are non-refundable; unused prepaid balances may be refundable at our discretion (§6) or where required by law.
5. Statutory / consumer rights (not waived)
Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer right you may have:
- EU/EEA consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital services that begin immediately, that right can be limited once performance has started with your prior express consent and acknowledgement — Creem's checkout captures the relevant consent.
- Türkiye consumers have rights under the Law on Consumer Protection (No. 6502) and the Distance Contracts Regulation, including a 14-day withdrawal right subject to the digital-content/service exceptions.
- Where a mandatory statutory refund applies, it prevails over §3–§4.
6. Discretionary refunds & service failures
We may grant a full or partial refund at our discretion — for example for a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a material Service failure attributable to us (sustained outage, not honest-refusal responses such as 502 upstream_walled for a specific upstream). Request within 30 days of the charge at [email protected] with your invoice ID / X-Request-Id.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us or Creem before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve it quickly. Fraudulent chargebacks may lead to account suspension under the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Taxes
Refunds are net of any non-recoverable transaction costs and are processed in the original currency. VAT/tax adjustments are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record.
